An Old White Lady Shouting 'RAPE!!' Because A Black Guy Is Within 100 Yards Of Her Is Too Funny Not To Be Shared Today
This is one of those days where it’s tough to figure out what’s “okay” to blog and what isn’t when talking about certain topics because everyone is wound so tight with the tragedy going on around us in America in the last 48 hours. But just like how a basketball player has to keep throwing em up, as a blogger you’ve got to put the best content you’ve seen out there and this is it for me. There are all sorts of layers of subtext you can infer about the shitty parts of the black experience in America but, in reality, this is just a hilarious video of an old white lady freaking out for no reason at all. I get embarrassed when my older dog sometimes yelps in public if we do something she doesn’t want to do and I’m horrified at the idea of people staring at me and thinking I abuse her; I can’t imagine being a black guy walking around and having an old while lady spy on then accuse me of crimes and have to just stand there like “You guys see this right? No rape? We’re good?” It’s just so absurd that you have to laugh at it no matter who you are. Put an old school Bob Saget America’s Funniest Home Videos narration on it and call it The Lighter Side of Uncomfortable Racism.
At the same time, it’s almost impressive how the old white lady stuck to her story. Sure he was nowhere near her and pointed out how ridiculous she was being, in her mind that was all part of the long con and he was coming to rape her but was thwarted thanks to her heroically shouting like a banshee. Or maybe the dude could have extended that BBC from where he was standing like some Japanese tentacle porn and gotten at her, who knows with Those People. Racist, criminally insane, but deeply committed to it all. That’s got to count for something.
